# msm:fragment

> Include and render a fragment template

`<msm:fragment>` inserts and renders another template (a “partial”) at the current position.

## Basic usage

```html theme={null}
<msm:fragment id="mainHeader" path="main/components/navbar.html" />
```

## Attributes

| Attribute            | Required | Meaning                                                    |
| -------------------- | -------: | ---------------------------------------------------------- |
| `id`                 |      yes | Unique fragment id.                                        |
| `path`               |      yes | Fragment template path (resolved by the platform).         |
| `param`              |       no | Parameters passed into the fragment (string or JSON).      |
| `bean`               |       no | Bean id used to compute/compile the `path` (optional).     |
| `scope`              |       no | Bean scope when `bean` is used (`PROTOTYPE` or `SESSION`). |
| `data-lazy-render`   |       no | If `true`, fragment can be rendered lazily.                |
| `data-lazy-load-js`  |       no | Optional lazy JS loader hint.                              |
| `data-lazy-load-css` |       no | Optional lazy CSS loader hint.                             |
| `data-template-path` |       no | Page template path used for lazy rendering.                |
